Gloss is made by one person in Sweden, runs on its own servers in the EU (Germany), and uses no advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, and no cookies for visitors.
We count page views (which page, when, and the referring site) with no cookies and no identifiers. That's the whole story.
We store the email address you give us, and use it for exactly one thing: writing to you about your access to Gloss. No newsletter, no sharing, no selling — ever. Write to gloss@thatvoid.com and it's deleted.
All of it lives on our own EU server, tied to your invite (a name you chose or were given — we don't require an email to use the app). It is never shared with anyone, and never used for advertising.
Your browser fetches article summaries and images from Wikipedia/Wikimedia, and podcast audio from each show's own hosting. Those requests go directly from your device and are subject to those services' policies. Episode transcription and analysis happen server-side via processing providers (currently Groq and DeepSeek) — they see podcast audio/text, never anything about you.
Ask and we'll show you everything tied to your invite, hand it over, or delete it — gloss@thatvoid.com.
